Pastor: Rev. R Don Wright

 

Pastor R. Don Wright was ordained to Word and Sacrament ministry in the Evangelical Lutheran Church and America on December 6, 1992. His wife, Donna M. Wright, was ordained at the same service. They have one daughter, Marica Kelley, who recieved her Master’s degree in Social Work in 2019 from UT Austin. Pastor Wright and his wife graduated from Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary in Berkeley, California in 1992 and their first call was in Scribner, Nebraska. In 1999 they took a new call in Omaha. Donna was called to serve as an Intentional Interim minister in 2008 in Southeast Pennsylvania, and Don was called to serve in Philadelphia in 2012 after serving various parishes in a part-time capacity. 

 

Organist: Martha Erickson

 

Music has always been a very important part of Martha’s life, a source of joy, peace, and comfort to her through the years. In 2nd Grade, she started taking piano lessons and continued with them through high school. Martha graduated from Clifton High School and Texas Lutheran University. While at TLU, she took organ lessons and sang in the acapella choir for two years. During her senior year of high school, she started playing for the church and continued off and on for over fifty years. Trinity has been blessed to have Martha as their full time organist for the past twenty-seven years. Martha has been happily married to Vernon (Pat) Erickson for 56 years and blessed with two children, John Erickson and wife, Jessica and Kim Amundson and husband, Brett and seven grandchildren.
